A Leader In Maritime Security Training

Since 2005, MARSEC Training has been a leader in maritime security education, offering comprehensive training programs for facility personnel and seafarers.

MARSEC delivers quality training programs that comply with the Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002. Our Maritime Security Awareness Training, available in an e-learning format, has successfully equipped over 100,000 students with essential maritime security knowledge.

About our Training Programs

We offer different courses to meet the diverse needs of facility personnel and seafarers:

Maritime Security Awareness (MSA)

An e-learning course for all port facility personnel and seafarers, including part-time and full-time contractors. This course covers the security awareness requirements found in 33 CFR Subchapter H, Parts 104.225 and 215, and ISPS Code, Parts B13.4 and B18.3.

This course is also available in Spanish.

Vessel Personnel Security

This course provides the knowledge required for vessel or ship personnel with designated security duties in connection with a Vessel Security Plan (VSP).

Vessel Security Officer (VSO)

Designed to impart the necessary knowledge regarding the duties and responsibilities with respect to the security of a vessel, for implementing and maintaining a Vessel Security Plan and for liaising with the Company Security Officer and Facility Security Officer.
